Also known as the Kuttiady Dam, Peruvannamuzhi is one of the most scenic eco-tourism destinations in North Kerala. Located 60 km from Kozhikode and nestled in the foothills of the Western Ghats, its reservoir is surrounded by dense evergreen forests dotted with small uninhabited islands — and borders the rich Malabar Wildlife Sanctuary.

The cool, dry months are best for boating the reservoir and visiting the gardens, with comfortable weather and full islands.

Getting there
60 km from Kozhikode via the Koyilandy–Perambra route. Buses are available from Kozhikode to Peruvannamuzhi.
