Celebrated as the longest drive-in beach in Asia, Muzhappilangad stretches across approximately 4 kilometres of golden hard-packed sand where cars and bikes can be driven right alongside the crashing waves of the Arabian Sea. Black rocks frame the shore, shielding it from strong currents and creating calm shallow waters ideal for swimming.

Dry, breezy weather and calm seas make the cool season ideal for driving the sands and swimming. The June–September monsoon brings rough surf and soft, waterlogged sand.
